The US American fashion designer, Tom Ford, opened the first franchise boutique in Zurich in April 2008. As reported by Focus-Online, the former Gucci designer launched the first flagship store in New York the previous year. This was followed by the opening in Milan of the first store under his own management in Europe.

In the next ten years some 100 stores bearing the luxury brand name are to open worldwide. The Tom Ford company will operate stores at the various locations both under direct management and as franchises. Further information on the company is available at www.tomford.com.
